Homage of Three Magi from your Grand-Aunt Ida

The Vicarage Antrim 9th March 1922 to my Grand Nephew It affords me the utmost pleasure to extend to you a warm welcome on your arrival in this somewhat upset world. But there is nothing like understanding one another from the start, and there's one subject on which you need give me no back-chat, and that's your Ma. If she likes to call you insect or any other form of bug, I can tell you that you'll jolly well have to lump it, for she's a good old sort and worth twenty of you any day in the week, and the sooner you get that into your little noddle-box, the better. So you know where you are - As for Grandpa, I've known worse; he's not a bad old bird when you get to know him; I fully expect you'll twirl him round your little finger (I wonder if it's the Dixon one) after a little practise. Grandma will spoil you like a good one. In fact, the only person I see likely to keep you in your proper place at all is Grand-Aunt Ida. My hat! She's a snorter! I advise you to keep clear of her as long as you can. And now I'll say Goodbye to you. I suppose you'll expect a sloppy kiss so here it is - X.
